At the origin of a new air brokerage model
After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the profession of air broker emerged. At the time, the newly independent republics possessed impressive air assets, but had difficulty marketing them.
Thus was born the first generation of European brokers, version 1.0 : Simple intermediaries and often simple resale offices, bought flights to resell them with high commissions, but without any real added value. Any aircraft fit to fly was offered, supply creating demand, sometimes flirting with safety requirements.
After a number of high-profile incidents, the business has evolved over more than 15 years to enhance safety and expertise.
In November 2004, Jean-François Ballin founded the first company in the Dynami Group, marking the beginning of generation 2.0 in air brokerage.
The objective was clear: rigorously select partner companies, offer transport solutions tailored to customers’ specific needs, and position ourselves as a reliable, proactive player.
In 2024, Dynami Aviation OPS embodies the 3.0 generation of air brokerage, today conducting rigorous audits on the airlines it uses to build with them the aviation of tomorrow, focused on CSR policies and compliance.
The next ten years will be dedicated tointernational expansion on every continent.
Commitment at the heart of our success
In December 2004, the tsunami in South-East Asia put our business and technical model to the test. In collaboration with NGOs, we developed and implemented a responsive, reliable and appropriate logistics solution to help the victims.
Dynami Aviation OPS had just won its spurs. From humanitarian aid to industry, via the oil sector, we’ve never stopped fighting to serve our customers and partners even better.
Today, it is our duty to offer version 3.0 of this air broker profession. Dynami Aviation OPS builds on the foundation of previous versions. To guarantee greater control and flight safety, we are carrying out or commissioning audits of our partners, taking equity stakes in airlines, signing exclusive marketing agreements, and attracting the elite of aeronautical advisors and consultants to serve our long-standing customers even better, as well as those who now realize that the era of “mailbox 1.0” brokers is well and truly over.
